11 月 25 日，IEEE Fellow 2021 入选名单公布，这一奖项代表学术科技领域权威荣誉和重要职业成就。全球 282 人入选，其中华人学者高达 75 人，占比 26.6%。我们在其中看到了不少熟悉的名字，比如清华大学计算机系教授唐杰、京东集团副总裁郑宇、中国科学技术大学李厚强、北京邮电大学马华东和合肥工业大学汪萌等……

 2020 年 11 月 25 日，IEEE Fellow 2021 入选名单公布，这一奖项代表学术科技领域权威荣誉和重要职业成就。全球 282 人入选，其中华人学者高达 75 人，占比 26.6%。

 IEEE 的全称是国际电气与电子工程师协会 （Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers），是一个国际性电子技术与信息科学工程师的协会，如今在全球 160 多个国家和地区中拥有近 42 万会员。

 IEEE 建会于 1963 年 1 月 1 日，总部位于美国纽约市，是当今世界电子、电气、计算机、通信、自动化工程技术研究领域最著名、规模最大的非营利性跨国学术组织。在电气及电子工程、计算机及控制技术领域中，IEEE发表的文献占了全球将近 1/3。

 IEEE Fellow 即 IEEE 会士/院士，为协会最高等级会员，是该组织授予的最高荣誉，在学术科技界被认定为权威的荣誉和重要的职业成就。每年由同行专家在做出突出贡献，且拥有高级（senior）或终身（life）等级的会员中评选出，当选人数不超过 IEEE 会员总人数的 0.1%。由于每年当选的 IEEE Fellow 数量较少，当选科学家基本都是在科学与工程技术领域内取得重要成就的杰出科学家。

IEEE 官方给出的入选理由如下：

1、唐杰(Jie Tang)，清华大学计算机系教授、系副主任，获杰青、IEEE Fellow。研究人工智能、认知图谱、数据挖掘、社交网络和机器学习。发表论文300余篇，引用16000余次，获ACM SIGKDD Test-of-Time Award（十年最佳论文）。主持研发了研究者社会网络挖掘系统AMiner，吸引全球220个国家/地区2000多万用户。担任IEEE T. on Big Data、AI OPEN主编以及WWW’21、CIKM’16、WSDM’15的PC Chair。获北京市科技进步一等奖、人工智能学会一等奖、KDD杰出贡献奖。
